Talkies app
Created by behaviourists and dog lovers
Talkies was created out of love and respect for our furry family members. And an appreciation for the fact that life is super busy, so being a dog owner is part of a mix of responsibilities.
And most of all, we can get taught how to drive, and lots of other things, but not how to be a great dog mum or dad. Often problems can start to happen without you knowing how or why, and you’re left with expensive behaviourist bills or an unhappy dog, or both.
We’re all curious about what our dogs are thinking, aren’t we? We’ve all wondered “is my dog really happy?” or “what does my dog really think of me?”, and “what’s my dog really feeling right now?” Well, wonder no more! Talkies helps you learn to decipher it.
And who doesn’t love a funny video featuring their dog? No-one, that’s who! So it’s a lot of fun too.
All you have to do is tell us about you and your dog, upload a video, or describe the behaviour you’re experiencing, and we’ll create a video of your dog telling you what’s going on, that you can share (if you want to) in your preferred social channels.

Meet the inspiration for Talkies
Fergus
This is Fergus. He lives with Muna. Fergus is a Romanian streetdog, and he’ll be eight in June. He’s reactive, as he had a tough start in life. So Muna had to learn to understand him better, to help him not be terrified of the world. He’s doing really well now and loving life in Bucks!

Shea
An 8 month old female Maltese living with Andre. Shea is fun loving and very social. So much so that she cries when any of her friends leave. She's also fiercely independent. She hates putting being on her leash to go for walks. But let her off and she'll jump and play with everyone in sight.
